Mobile Number Portability service allows subscribers to change mobile operator while retaining the existing mobile number. To ensure uninterrupted receipt of SMS messages by cardholders about performed operations, MilliKart LLC in connection with Mobile Number Portability service added a new functionality to its SMS Banking service. Cardholders can report porting their mobile phone numbers to a particular operator through a few simple steps:

1. Sending to the short number 8893 sms CHANGE allows changing registered in the system mobile phone number to and operator to as well for the first card in the card list attached to this number (example, change +99450xxxxxxx Bakcell).
2. Sending to the short number 8893 sms CHANGE allows changing mobile phone number to and operator to as well for cardholder of card (example, change xxxx +99450xxxxxxx Nar Mobile).

We would like to to note that the parameter is a variable for all three mobile operators Azercell, Bakcell and Nar Mobile as well and points to the last four digits of the card.

Simultaneously, banks can change mobile operator of customers using CHANNEL_ID parameter in the web interface (http://smsbank:7080).
